“Mommy, a boon sissy ee ee ah”

Interpretation: Mommy, brother’s balloon is a monkey!

It’s been a while since I have been on here, many things have been going on, lots of changes too. The kids just amaze me now days in how much they understand, say, and do. As you can see from above, Alexis is still a little confused. She calls her brother “sissy” When you ask her where brother is, she points to him, so she knows the right word, she just refuses to use anything buy “sissy” Oh well, she’ll catch on soon, I hope!

In January, Alexis bit a whole through her lip and chin, which caused her to get three stitches. It was one of the worst things I had to go through yet, as a mother. My kids have been poked a lot, Jeremiah has even had 2 surgeries, but watching my little girl look up at me in total fear, was the most difficult thing. Knowing, I was putting her through pain, knowing that she knew I could stop it, but wasn’t. It was just hard. Thankfully, she didn’t seem to remember anything, even later that night we asked her where her boo boo was and she pointed to her scab on her ankle.

The day before my birthday we went to the Wildlife World Zoo and Aquarium, it was a nice day!

They are growing up so quick, these photos prove it… they are already addicted to their cell phones.

Only the good

I am so tired, the past couple of weeks has been pretty much the hardest couple of weeks that I have had in a long time. I don't even want to go into it. So let's just watch the good and fun times!

This next video is hilarious, because moments after I took the video I let the kids watch it, and Alexis did everything the same. Down to chasing the dog out the door way again. It was so funny to watch it on video and in real life at the same time!

Word update & Wordless Wednesday

JB & Alexis are starting to talk a lot more. I just love there cute little voices. Here are some of the new words floating around the house. “Hi, Up, Woof, Two, Ach, Mommy, Dada, Mamma,  Droder, Ouch, Owie, Whoa, Wow, Ticka, Ticka, Birdie, This”

I’m not feeling good at all today, last night my temperature went up to 103* while I was taking Tylenol.  I am still feeling pretty crummy this morning, but think I am on my way to recovery.

OH BOY!!

Yesterday, we had a post-op appointment for Jeremiah. I am happy to say he is doing just fine, and we should only have one more appointment with that doctor (in 6 months). We have been seeing that doctor since Jeremiah was 6weeks old, so now that he is 11months, they feel like part of the family. Anyway, I am happy that we are almost done with the surgeon

After the doctor appointment, my mom, the kids and I all went to El Pollo Loco for lunch. I got my usual: chicken tostada salad, and decided to get the kids a cheese crisp and some pinto beans. While we were waiting for the food, I gave the babies some raisins to snack on. BAD IDEA!! After the raisins, they didn't want anything to do with the lunch I just bought for them. I kept trying over and over to give them some cheese crisp, but Alexis would do her typical: sealing her lips, closing her eyes, and pulling her head as far back and away from me as possible. Jeremiah, did his typical and protested loudly, for the entire restaurant and neighboring businesses to hear. As mommy, I would sternly tell him "NO" when he would so rudely spout his dissatisfaction. We repeated this over and over. Finally Jeremiah decided it was time for his first word. He forced his neck and head out towards me, slanted his eyebrows in a "v" shape, pursed his lips together and shouted "New!" Which was obviously his attempted to tell me "NO!" Once again, being the mommy I had to tell him that was not okay, through the laughter of Nanu next to him. Oh boy! This kid is a handful and I am sure will only continue to be!
