This was Joshua's first time to the Children's Museum of Phoenix. The twins have been twice before and were very excited to "go shopping" again. As we started walking in, Joshua started to understand what we were doing, I know this because he started shouting out "play, Play, PLAY!!" He was ready to play. We all recieved a stamp on our hands, upon entrance. In this first picture Joshua is Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7599799804921438868.post-39518536269370388942013-03-29T21:10:00.001-07:002013-03-29T21:10:55.956-07:00Zoo DayThe kids got a special birthday treat! A year ago that all changed when I got a kitchen aid mixer. I however still had a secret phobia of making cookies using a cookie cutter. This was an obvious "secret phobia" since I have a drawer filled with cookie cutters, given to me as gifts from others. My fear of cookie cutter cookies doesn't send me into a frenzy, running out of a room like my hair is on Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7599799804921438868.post-43966605594565322882012-12-30T16:27:00.001-07:002012-12-30T16:27:38.246-07:00ZoolightsHad a wonderful evening with our niece, nephew, children and neighbors as we spent an evening at Zoolights. I made a special treat for  all 6 of the kids. Some enjoyed it more than others. ONE child enjoyed it the most. He sat by himself at the picnic table and ate his treat. When finished, he walked in with bowl and spoon. Looked up at my friend with a huge smile and such pride that he finished his snack. After I tucked her into bed, kissed her and said goodnight, she sweetly asked, “Mommy, can I have a girl tea party at my house? With NO BOYS!” I told her we could probably make that happen, and then she proceeded to make it known that boys were not allowed. “I want NO BOYS! The older two were crawling around the couch, and the little one decided to join in on the fun. Back and forth they all went… laughing the entire time. The older kids were going a little to fast, so I said “You guys need to slow down, you don’t want your little baby crocodile to get lost and eaten” Jeremiah stopped dead in Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7599799804921438868.post-15957015209459785312012-10-17T22:59:00.001-07:002012-10-17T22:59:29.252-07:00Fun day at the parkI love how the little guy learned, by himself, to go down the slide on his tummy.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7599799804921438868.post-18725514392633811622012-10-03T22:16:00.001-07:002012-10-03T22:16:27.009-07:00Wordless WednesdayUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7599799804921438868.post-8987544832439896452012-10-03T21:55:00.001-07:002012-10-03T21:55:52.359-07:00A Secret Fascination: VampirismWhat I am fascinated by is actually blood. Yes, its true. I became aware of this while going to school for phlebotomy ( the act of drawing or removing blood from the circulatory system through a cut (incision) or puncture ). I am amazed at the complexity of Blood. From how scabs are made to blood types to how it flows through the heart and body. Most of the animals hid away in the shade, out of view. Joshua would see the water spray from the hole in the ground, and decide to bend down and touch it. I kept waiting for one to spray him in the face, but he lucked out! As I was standing there, I enjoyed the “cleanliness and organized” room. I even felt a little sense of pride. I had worked very hard the last few days on organizing a couple of rooms and at the moment I was really enjoying the fruits of my labor. I then walked into the family room… the feeling was gone. They do look a lot alike though! Joshua was very happy to have his Babu or as Joshy says “Baba” home from his 7week long trip. When it was time for bed, Joshua did not go down easily like he normally does. He cried and fussed, so I let him stay up. He was perfectly content. That means, if you ask for something. Be quiet and wait for it. Don't keep asking, whining, and crying about it. Most of the time, I have already started to answer your request, but you don't stop begging, long enough to realize it. I can't do things instantly all the time. You need to learn to be quiet and wait!"

Around 7am this morning I hear the kids arguing (not the cute part) and I hear Jeremiah say to Alexis “You are not my boss. Oh and how to start my 1987 Chevy Blazer with my dipstick… that was a cool trick to show the boys! ~ A week before my great grandfather died (at 99.75 years old) I went with my orchestra class to play Christmas music to him and the nursing home he Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7599799804921438868.post-20149148198558074852012-08-10T16:51:00.001-07:002012-08-10T16:51:31.539-07:00More Random Acts of Cuteness~ Jeremiah comes running into the kitchen with his new orange gun that his cousin Zach gave him about a week ago. Joshua; the day before he turned one was throwing a fit at dinner. I handed him a variety of foods before I saw the one thing left on the table... Yep that was it! He wanted a fork!
