Your Questions Answered…

First of all… YES, we did go to Wendy’s on our anniversary. We stopped there on our way home from the botanical gardens and got a frosty and some french fries. I feel loved that you were all so concerned about keeping our tradition alive! MCj04347430000[1]School… My 3 top choices of careers were Medical, Social Work, or Education… I am fascinated with each but only one pays well and enables me to actually make a little money by only working part time. Therefore, I am getting a degree in Natural Health. It will open up a few doors for now until I can enter the RN program. I don’t want to start the RN program now because I want to wait until all my children are 3+.(We are wanting one more baby, but not yet.)So, Monday school starts… wish me luck this will be a busy year!

More Breaking News!

Today Justin was in a water balloon war with our nephews and ended up being tripped by Zach. From across the yard I heard a “snap!” Justin immediately looked down and grabbed his foot. After a couple more throws of the water balloon, he sat down. We looked at his foot and his little toe was red and swollen. We ended up going to urgent care, to see if they could pop in back into place, but it turns out it was broken in 1/2. NICE!  MCj03474350000[1]   Here are just a couple of cute pictures from today and the past couple of days.

Working at Uncle Tony’s House

P5120036P5120037P5120039P5120049j0382578 I’ve officially been “Re-activated.” Sounds pretty special, huh? Actually it just means I am starting school again. YIKES! I had an anxiety attack tonight about it, actually. I really have no idea what I want to do with my life other than be a mommy to my kids. However, I feel that it is important to finish up my school so I can get a job if I need one. Also, at times we need some extra income and I would like to be able to find a good job that I can work very part time (so I can be with the kids full time) I would like to work only 1-2 days a week, until the kids are older. So anyway, I will be super busy this next year. Luckily I am able to take summer and fall classes mainly on-line. But from January until August I will be going Mon-Thurs. 7:30-10:30am. It will be tough those couple of months, but the kids will be almost 2 and I will only be gone a couple hours a day, while daddy is home with them. I am still freaking out though. I hope and pray I am making the right decision for our family. I have until June 5 to change my mind, so keep me in your thoughts and prayers!MCj03825760000[1]

Anniversary

We celebrated our 7th Anniversary on Monday. We had a nice day together. We went to Claim Jumper for Lunch then to the Desert Botanical Gardens. It was nice spending time with each other just talking and contemplating on our life past and future. We also enjoyed going through our wedding album, and seeing how much things have changed in 7years (i.e. kids growing up, Justin loosing more hair).

Breaking News!

Alexis and I were playing on the couch this morning and she was giggling and giving kisses. Our fun came to a halt when her skull and my nose collided. The "crack" echoed throughout the room. She broke my nose! I now have 2 lovely black eyes and an aching noggin.

On a lighter note, she started saying "Hi" today. That's pretty exciting. As we were walking through the store, she was waving and saying "hi" to everyone she saw. Pretty cute!

Dancing Babies

Every time the kids hear any music (radio, commercial, theme song to Dr. Phil, it doesn’t matter) they start to dance. They were so funny standing and dancing. Of course by the time we started to video it, Alexis stopped. These videos are still pretty funny. The quality is not fantastic because it was captured with my cell phone. However, it does make it much quicker to upload!

What a MESS!!

I decided to just let my kids be kids, while I tried to make my own dinner and then attempt to eat it while it was hot! This is what happened…

First, they got into the recycle trash and spread it across the kitchen floor. Jeremiah, the tough stud that he is, picked up and dropped the can of paint that I had out to touch up the walls in my bedroom. (the can was closed)

Next, while I was eating my dinner, Alexis managed to open the tub of paperwork that I was organizing. She would take out one piece at a time, look it over then throw it over her shoulder. destroyed 5-9-09

Normally, I try to stay on top of their messes, but like I said. I wanted to eat my yummy food… and I wanted it HOT! So this is the price I pay.

Happy Mother’s Day

Twin Count…

I have heard people say that they think there are more twins today then in the past. I am sure there is a rise due to the ability of fertility treatments, however there are still a lot of older twins out there. Since mine were born, I have kept a count of everyone who has personally told me they are a twin, married to a twin, or have twin children or grandchildren. (no brother’s, uncle’s, friend’s, dog sitter stuff… this is actual close relatives) You would not believe how often someone tells me about “their twins.” So anyway, I have kept count and decided to keep my running total on my blog, just for fun! So if you look on the side bar you will see my “twin counter.”

New Play Pool

I decided to get a play pool for the kids. Jeremiah did not enjoy it but the girls seemed to have a good time (Alexis and Kaia got matching bathing suits from their Great Aunt Diana) I just love these kids!!
