On Monday, we decided to get out of the house for a couple hours. A couple turned into a few, resulting in a way too long car drive for the babies. We did however see a few things we’ve never seen before, so that was cool. Take a look:
Agave Plant Blooms every 20-40 years
Sheep’s Bridge
We ended up getting stuck out in the desert, because we could not find a route to get home. We ended up meeting up with a couple of guys on motorcycles, who were in the same predicament. We had to drive down a river bed, then cross the river. Luckily we didn’t run out of gas… and we got home just fine. Here are some more pictures of the day.
Check out this HUGE Cactus… Justin is standing at the base of it, to give you an idea of how big it is!

super cute! looks like JB was having a great time in the water. I've never been over there. pretty scenery
We used to go there a lot! Love Sheep's Bridge. We had one of the kid's b-days there, too, with a caravan of celebrators. Did you see the "hot tub"? Nice pictures, too! Love that first shot. Looks like you had a blast. Did you know Joel's granddad was in the Guiness Book of World Records for a while for discovering the tallest cactus? It fell about 20 years ago, so he is not a record holder anymore. :)
these are beautiful pictures last weekend we got pictures of nieces up against tall tall
saguaros..they loved it!!

Pictures like these actually make me appreciate Arizona and it's unique landscape. - Nanu
