Anniversary Dates

May 25th will be our 7th Wedding Anniversary. I am trying to figure out what to do. I thought I would post what we did for our previous anniversaries… I thought it was kind of funny.

1st Anniversary: Sunday, went to church then went to Cheesecake Factory for lunch. After the evening service we drove through Wendy’s and got a frosty.

2nd Anniversary: I had to go to class, then I met Justin at his work. We had dinner at Wendy’s! (Justin was so sweet… he told me since it was our anniversary I could order WHATEVER I wanted, I didn’t even have to order off the $1 menu… what a guy!)

3rd Anniversary: On our way up to Oregon, we spent the night in Las Vegas. We planned on going to the Bellagio for dinner, but it was closed by the time we got there, so we were stuck with Wendy’s yet again.

4th Anniversary: Justin had to go on a business trip, so I reluctantly went with him. We ended up having dinner at the Charthouse on the beach in Hawaii!! (poor me, ha ha!)

5th Anniversary: Lunch at Wendy’s (until now, it was all a fluke…now it’s turned into tradition). In the evening we saw Pirates of the Caribbean III (actually, our plan was to see all the new movies coming out this summer… Spider Man 3, Bourne Ultimatum, and one other that I can’t remember, think it was a chick flick… it was also the 3rd in a series though, kind of funny how that worked out)

6th Anniversary: It landed on a Sunday again, so we spent the day at church with our brand new babies. After church we ate at Wendy’s with our sisters and their kids.

7th Anniversary: Planning it now…. I ordered tickets to the Desert Botanical Gardens. I am still trying to figure out where to go for dinner. Any ideas??? (We’ll probably do lunch at Wendy’s with the kids)

The Melting Pot!! I'd love to talk Gary into going there with me... Maybe you'll have more luck with Justin.

The melting pot is awesome especially the dessert!!! I will send you an email for a promotion they're doing right now. It would be a little early for your anniversary though it's a cinco de mayo thing...but maybe something else will be going on later.

so funny they both said melting pot! he he. I will never go there again. It's really probably a taste thing. I enjoyed the meat but, that was it. The prices definitely didn't make it worth it to me but, it is an experience. I think there is one other fondue place out in the valley. I have to chuckle at the Wendy's thing but, it is a cute tradition

Tony has been here and loved it. I haven't tried it yet. Gotta keep Dad in town long enough one of these days to try it. - MOM -
