July 14, 2011 at 4am (almost on the dot) I woke up, needing to use the bathroom. We had a great time today at the Crazy Carnival Day at the church. We were suppose to dress crazy. So people did an exceptional job, we just got some huge glasses and sprayed our hair with glitter. Kids have been pretty “sicky” today. Fevers and fussy. So, I decided to have them help me make dinner, to give them something to do other than whine and cry. They had fun. Today, I am thankful for fake owls! When we first moved into this house I was so thankful the pigeons chose my neighbors house to perch on, instead of mine. A few years ago, something changed. The nasty rats with wings decided to make my roof the local hangout. This caused our dogs to go crazy, bird poop everywhere, our pond was just disgusting. It was terrible. Our luck changed a few months ago.

As of this moment in time, my kids are very polite. They say thank you for everything! We had our Christmas get together with Justin’s side of the family on Saturday Dec. 19th at his sister’s house. The twins still didn’t understand the concept of “unwrapping” and “new toys” our niece Kaia however was so adorable to watch. She will be three the day after Christmas, so she is at an age where everything is exciting. She would open gifts like toothpaste and shout for joy and hug it.

The kids have been in their toddler beds for about 2 weeks now. They are doing fantastic! The first night went great, the second and third not as good but from there it only got better. We are still experiencing toddlers crawling into our beds around 3am, 5am, and 6am, but all in all its been pretty good. Today at nap time they switched beds. (sort of)
